On a recent trip to the Outback, I was lucky enough to be hosted by Alan in Yulara, the resort town which services Uluru.

Like most young boy, once upon a time I wanted to be a fireman when I grew up and, for Alan, this dream simply never went away!

Asking all kinds of questions about the realities of firefighting and life in the Outback, my curiosity left satisfied.
